The James Gin and H&W Stay Giveaway is available to enter from World Gin Day, Saturday 13th June, until 30th June 2026 at 23:59 BST. To enter you must like the competition post, comment who you’d bring with you, and make sure you’re following both @jamesmaygin and @hallandwoodhouse. Entrants must be over 18 and resident in the UK.
The giveaway includes:
- Lunch for 2 at James’ pub The Royal Oak, Swallowcliffe (plus two James G&Ts)
- Signed bottle of James Gin with two James Gin glasses
- Personalised video message from James May
- A night’s stay at a Hall & Woodhouse Inn of your choice
The winner of the competition will be notified by 3rd July via Instagram direct message from Hall & Woodhouse. The winner will be selected at random by a website generator. If we have not had a response within 7 days, we reserve the right to re-select a new winner.
There is no cash alternative for the prize. We reserve the right to amend the terms without notice.
Lunch at the Royal Oak
Lunch for two at The Royal Oak, Swallowcliffe is included up to the value of £150. Two complimentary James G&Ts will also be supplied; all other drinks are excluded. The winner must contact The Royal Oak directly to book their lunch. The lunch prize is valid for bookings made in 2026 only, subject to availability. The prize does not include travel costs or any additional expenses incurred.
Overnight Stay
The overnight break is for two adults and includes breakfast. The winner must contact the hotel directly to book their stay. The break is only valid at Hall & Woodhouse Managed Houses with rooms and is valid for stays in 2026 only, subject to availability. The prize covers accommodation and breakfast only and does not include travel costs or any additional expenses incurred. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. Room bookings cannot be changed or amended once made, and standard accommodation terms and conditions will apply.
James Gin Prize
The winner will receive one signed bottle of James Gin, two James Gin glasses, and a personalised video message from James May. This will be shipped to a UK address only and will be dispatched within 6 weeks of the winner being announced. The personalised video message will also be filmed and sent within 6 weeks of the winner being announced.
