Go to a store selling James Gin, find a bottle on the shelf - it won't be difficult, it's the one that stands out from all the other ‘artisanal’ nonsense - and take what our Marketing Team insist on calling a ‘shelfie’. That's a photograph in plain English. Of yourself. With the bottle. It's simple. Even Clarkson could do it.

Naturally there's a reward for your efforts.
Each month, one lucky participant will receive a personalised video message from me. You'll be the envy of your friends and family. Possibly.
There is also a high chance that your 'shelfie' will appear on Planet Gin - our YouTube channel, which you should watch immediately.

• The Shelfie Challenge is open globally to individuals of legal drinking age in their country of residence.
• To enter, participants must submit a photo (“Shelfie”) featuring a bottle of James Gin. No purchase is necessary.
• Entries can be submitted either: By emailing the address provided on this page, or by posting on social media and tagging James Gin.
• One winner will be selected at random each month.
• There is no limit to the number of entries per person.
• The prize is a personalised video message from James May. No cash alternative is available.
• Winners will be contacted via the method of entry (email or social media) within a reasonable timeframe.
• By entering, participants confirm they own the rights to the image submitted and have permission from anyone featured in the photo.
• By submitting an entry, participants grant James Gin the right to use, reproduce, and share the content across marketing channels (including social media, email, and website), with credit where possible.
• James Gin reserves the right to disqualify entries that are incomplete, inappropriate, or do not meet the entry requirements.
